Although HCB is committed to the use of propane as a replacement of R404A, the company’s strategy is to offer other solutions to the customers following the refrigeration market trends. For this reason, HCB is testing new refrigerant alternatives for R404A with less GWP. For instance, R442A and R407F could be temporary alternatives for R404A in light commercial refrigeration systems according to the F-gas regulation.
