The new F-Gas Regulation was approved in December 2013 by the European Parliament and Council. The aim of the agreed regulation is to reduce F-gas emissions of today's levels by two-thirds by 2030, compromising the most used HFC’s in the light commercial refrigeration industry.

Sabadell City Hall organized an event to recognize the companies who have participated in the Program of hiring and training of people younger than 30 year old, older than 45 or at risk of social exclusion.
The act was held in the City Hall on February 19th, 2014, and representatives from different collaborating companies attended to receive the Diploma in recognition from the distinguish Mr. Mayor of Sabadell, Mr. Juan Carlos García.

While the European F-Gas banning regulation is still under discussion, Huayi Compressor Barcelona has already started testing the most suitable refrigerant alternatives to the currently more used F-Gases (R404A and R134a) in its market segment.
